We got off the train at "Iseshi" station and stayed at a hotel for one night to visit the "Ise Jingu", which is the most famous and popular shrine to visit in Japan. We woke up at about 6 o’clock, partook of the complimentary breakfast, and left the hotel.
After visiting “Geku”, we caught the bus and went to “Naiku.” There were so many people there but we didn’t wait to pray, and I was so glad to visit the “Ise Jingu” with my husband. We enjoyed taking photos at “Okage Yokocho” after exploring “Naiku.”
After visiting "Ise Jingu", we went to “VISON” by bus to stay a night there. It is focused on food, so there were a lot of shops, which sold only soy sauce, only mirin, only vinegar, or only miso, and restaurants.
We ate some small food for lunch and shopped until the check-in time. I went to the “HONZO Spa” to relax after checking in. It was nice but the water was very hot, so I couldn’t stay very long. We had a nice dinner at a Spanish restaurant and enjoyed a light-up show “The Prince Under the Moon and the Festival of Mysteries”.
We headed to “Matsusaka Station” to return to Osaka. Before getting on the train, we explored the “Matsusaka Castle Ruins.” I didn’t know anything about Matsusaka City except for Matsusaka beef, but it was a nice photo walk.
We bought “Ekiben” for lunch and ate on the train back. This was our first trip without our daughter, and we relaxed and enjoyed it very much. Many thanks to my parents for taking care of our kid!
